Sciacca, Sicily
On Wednesday 21 October 2026, Isabella and Billy were married in Sciacca, a historic fishing town perched above the sea on Sicily's south-west coast. Autumn in Sicily brings warm, golden days and softer light, and their wedding showed just how magical a midweek, late-season celebration can be.
A Catholic ceremony at the Basilica
Isabella and Billy chose a Catholic church wedding at the Basilica Maria SS. del Soccorso (Parrocchia S. Maria Maddalena), the mother church of Sciacca.
Isabella and Billy chose our Catholic and civil ceremony package, so we took care of all the paperwork for both the church and the civil side, with Sabina working closely with the church and the town hall here in Sicily. As part of their partial wedding planning, we also organised their transport, and we were there on the day of the ceremony to make sure everything ran smoothly, so all Isabella and Billy had to think about was each other.
Portraits around Sciacca
After the ceremony, family and friends gathered on the steps outside to celebrate. Then the newlyweds headed out for portraits around the town: on the Basilica's stone balcony, strolling hand in hand across a sunlit piazza, and on a terrace above the harbour, looking out over the Mediterranean.
A sunset to remember
The light at the end of the day was simply breathtaking. As the sun dropped towards the sea, Isabella and Billy shared quiet moments on the terrace, framed in gold. These are the photos that will stay with us.
